Welcome to the fourth in a series of Designalongs with Cochenille.

Are you a dabbler in different textile/fabric techniques? Or have you been looking for an excuse to push yourself to finesses a new skill and incorporate it in a garment?

Join us in our next Designalong: Melange – Combining Textile/Fabric Techniques where we walk through the creative process of planning and designing a garment. You can use Garment Designer or work with a commercial pattern. We will follow the typical process designers use when creating new garments, so you will learn to approach your work in the same way. It is great fun.

Think Combinations… such as

• Woven/Knits • Handwoven/Commercial Fabrics • Sewn Garment with Quilt techniques. •  Sewn Garment and Embroidery • Dyeing and Sewing/Knitting  • Machine Knit and Hand Knit. •  Knit/Sewn Garment with Embellishment  • Printing/Sewn Garment •   etc. etc.
