Explore silk painting in the heart of beautiful Burgundy. Come stay in Nadja’s vintner estate home, paint with liquid dyes on luscious silk, and come away with several pieces of your own. In addition to the textile art, we will also tour the local sights and experience some top notch French dining.
Activities
Arrival:
5pm- Tour of the property,
7pm- Dinner made by Nadja.
Day 1
8am - breakfast
9am to noon - Workshop hand painting a scarf.
Lunch chez moi (Nadja)
2pm-5pm - Tour of the region, vines, winery, the lavoires (laundry washing stations of yore), the local milliner, and more.
Dinner at one of Nadja’s favorite local places
Day 2
8 am breakfast
9 am to noon- Steaming our scarves. Paint a painting or another scarf.
Lunch chez moi (Nadja)
2-5pm - Tour Beaune, a beautiful town with lots to see.
